  2. 1/4 cup(s) golden corn syrup

  3. 1/4 cup(s) butter or margarine

  4. 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt

  5. 1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda

  6. 5 cup(s) popped low-fat microwave popcorn

  7. 1 cup(s) honey dry-roasted peanuts or other nuts

  8. 1 1/2 cup(s) Kellogg'sRice KrispiesVanilla Flavour cereal, finely crushed to

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently.

  2. Remove from heat; stir in baking soda.

  3. Stir in popcorn and peanuts. Work quickly to coat well.

  4. Immediately sprinkle crushed cereal over mixture. Work quickly to coat well.

  5. Spread, using rubber spatula or 2 forks, on baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Let cool. Break into chunks. Store in heavy plastic bag or covered container.
