  1. 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  2. 2 cups whole wheat flour

  3. 1 cup rye flour

  4. 1 cup cornmeal

  5. 2 cups bulgur wheat

  6. 1/2 cup instant non-fat dry milk

  7. 1 Tbsp salt

  8. 1 package instant yeast , dissolved in

  9. 1/4 cup warm (105-110 F) water

  10. 1 pint chicken stock

  11. 1 egg (or more) beaten in

  12. 1 Tbsp milk

  1. Combine all dry ingredients.

  2. Add dissolved yeast and stock.

  3. Knead into a stiff dough (about 3-5 minutes)

  4. Roll out into ¼-inch sheets. Cut into shapes and arrange on a sheet pan.

  5. Bake at 300° F for 45 minutes. Turn off oven and leave biscuits to cool completely.
