  1. 12 oz. spare-ribs, cut into pieces

  2. 2 garlic cloves, sliced thinly

  3. 1/2 c. corn starch, for dusting Marinade:

  4. 1 tsp. salt

  5. 1 tbsp. corn starch

  6. 1 small egg, beaten.

  7. You need 2 tbsp. for marinade. Sauce: Mix together

  8. 2 tbsp. tomato sauce

  9. 1 tbsp. plum sauce

  10. 1 1/2 tsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce

  11. 3 tbsp. sugar

  12. 1 1/2 tbsp. water

  13. 1 tbsp. soy sauce

  1. Marinate spare ribs for 30 mins.

  2. Dust spare ribs with cornstarch, and deep-fry until golden yellow and done. Drain.

  3. Sauté garlic in 1 tbsp. oil. Add in the sauce, and cook until heated through. Add fried spare ribs, and stir well. Serve immediately.
