  1. 1 cup(s) butter or margarine

  2. 1 1/2 cup(s) cofectioners sugar

  3. 1 egg

  4. 1/2 teaspoon(s) almond extract

  5. 2 1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour

  6. 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda

  7. 1 pound(s) powdered sugar (1 box)

  8. 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt

  9. 1/4 cup(s) milk

  10. 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla

  11. 1/3 cup(s) butter or margarine (2/3 of a stick)

  12. 1 box(es) food coloring (red, yellow, green, blue)

  1. Mix butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and almond extract. Blend in flour and baking soda. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 2 to 3 hours.

  2. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll out dough onto lightly floured surface and cut into desired shapes. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake 7 to 8 minutes or until edges are light brown.

  3. Mix box of powdered sugar, salt, milk, vanilla and butter or margarine in a bowl. Divide into cups and add different colors of food coloring for decorating.
