  1. 1 cup flour

  2. 3/4 cup sugar

  3. 1 tsp baking soda

  4. 1/2 tsp salt

  5. 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  6. 2 cups uncooked rolled oats

  7. 1/2 cup butter or margarine

  8. 1 egg

  9. 3 tbs. evaporated milk

  10. 1/2 cup mashed ripe banana

  1. Sift together flour, sugar, soda, salt and cinnamon in a 2-qt. bowl. Mix in the rolled oats. Add shortening, egg, evaporated milk and banana all at once. Beat well. Drop by teaspoonful on to ungreased cookie sheets. Bake until lightly browned.
