  1. 1 x 400g tin chick peas

  2. 1 finely chopped red onion

  3. 1 clove garlic , crushed

  4. Tablespoon each of chopped parsley, coriander and mint

  5. Pinch ground cinnamon

  6. Olive oil for brushing

  7. salt and pepper

  8. 1 tbsp flour

  9. Poppy seed buns

  10. lime mayonnaise (mayonnaise with a good squeeze of fresh lime added)

  11. rocket

  12. Cherry tomatoes

  13. Pickled jalapeños

  1. Pulse the chick peas, herbs, spice, seasoning and flour until smoothish. Mould into ‘burgers’, brush with oil and barbeque for 3 minutes each side. Serve in poppy seed buns with lime mayo, rocket, cherry tomatoes and pickled jalapeños.
