  2. Dressing:

  3. 1/3 cup soy sauce

  4. 1/4 cup white wine vinegar

  5. 2 Tbsp. chili sauce

  6. 2 Tbsp. sugar

  7. 2 Tbsp. sesame oil

  8. 1" chunk of fresh ginger, chopped

  9. 4 garlic cloves, minced

  10. 2 tsp. chili flakes

  11. fresh pepper

  12. 1/4 cup veg. oil

  13. Toss dressing over cooked spaghetti, grated carrots, sliced green onions. Serve hot or cold. Variations: diced peppers, diced tomatoes, etc. Makes one big serving bowl - so go big on the noodles, or veggies, or half and half it!

  14. (Note: I use only Japanese soy sauce. I use the asian (red) garlic chili sauce. If you buy fresh ginger, you can store it in a baggie in the freezer for months - it is also easier to grate when it is frozen. I never use all the oil, but it does help the dressing to cling to the noodles.)
