  1. 1 litre milk

  2. 6 cardamom

  3. 2 oz green raisins

  4. 2oz basmati rice

  5. 3 tbsp Brown Sugar

  6. 1 lb Carrots - grated

  7. 1 cup Condensed milk

  8. 2 oz Almonds (blanched in hot water and peeled)

  1. Put milk, cardamom seeds, green raisins into a pan under a medium heat and stir.

  2. When milk comes to the boil add washed rice and continue to stir regularly insuring the rice doesn’t stick to the pan.

  3. Add brown sugar and bring to the boil.

  4. When the rice has fluffed up add the grated carrots.

  5. Add a small can of condensed milk.

  6. Add the almonds.

  7. Bring to the boil and let it simmer for 10-12 mins.
