  1. Oil for frying

  2. 1 large chopped onion

  3. 1 tbsp garlic

  4. 1 tsp ginger

  5. 1/2 tsp lemon juice

  6. 1/2 cup of milk and water

  7. Spices:

  8. 1tsp cumin seeds

  9. 1/2 inch cinnamon stick

  10. 1 bay leaf

  11. 1 tsp turmeric powder

  12. 1 tsp red chili powder

  13. 1 tsp salt (per taste)

  14. 2 green cardamoms

  15. 2-3 cloves

  16. 1/2 tsp black pepper

  1. Paneer cut into small cubes.

  2. Fry paneer cubes until it turns golden brown.

  3. Now make the masala:

  4. Add cumin seeds in hot oil.

  5. Add onions, ginger, garlic, salt ,turmeric powder, red chili powder, bay leaf, green cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, fry everything all together.

  6. Onion turns golden brown.

  7. Put mixture in grinder, add water and make a paste.

  8. Add 1/2 cup of milk to make the paste thinner.

  9. Curry paste is ready.

  10. Boil the curry paste.

  11. Add fried paneers.

  12. Fry all about 2-3 minutes.

  13. Sprinkle pinch of black peppers, fenugreek leaves, few drops of lemon juice and Julian ginger.

  14. Serve paneer masala curry with rice, naan etc.
