  1. 2 cups 12-oz. milk chocolate chips

  2. 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening

  3. 1/2 cup raisins

  4. 1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds, chopped

  5. 1/2 cup toasted shredded coconut

  1. In a double boiler melt the chocolate chips and shortening, stirring until smooth.

  2. Remove from heart. Stir in the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper lined baking sheet.

  4. Chill until ready to serve.
