  3. 1 cup hot milk

  4. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  6. 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening

  7. 1 tablespoon flour

  8. 1 egg

  1. Melt vegetable shortening; mix well with flour; add the milk gradually, then the seasoning and corn, and last of all beaten egg.

  2. Pour into vegetable shorteninged baking dish and bake in moderate oven for 1/2 hour.
