  1. 453 1/29 g bulk pork sausage

  2. 1 green pepper , chopped

  3. 236 1/29 ml chopped onion

  4. 236 1/29 ml tomato juice

  5. 411.06 g can diced tomatoes , undrained

  6. 9.85 ml dried oregano

  7. 1 1/53 ml salt

  8. pepper

  9. 59.14 ml butter

  10. 1 medium head cabbage , thinly sliced

  1. In a skillet, cook sausage, green pepper and onion until the sausage is browned; drain.

  2. Stir in the tomato juice, tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper; simmer for 1 hour.

  3. Melt butter in a Dutch oven; saute cabbage over medium heat until tender, about 15 minutes.

  4. Transfer to a serving platter and top with the meat sauce.
