  1. 12 tomatillos

  2. 1 - 3 jalapeños (seeded)

  3. 3 cloves garlic

  4. 1 onion quartered

  5. 1 lime (juice and zest from one lime)

  6. 1/2 tsp Goya seasoning

  7. cilantro (Chopped) to taste

  8. 1 raw onion diced

  1. Peel papery skins from tomatillos.

  2. Place tomatillos, minced jalapeños, garlic, quartered onion in saucepan and cover with cold water. See Photo Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes or until soft.

  3. Drain and cool slightly. See Photo Place ingredients into blender or food processor. Add Goya seasoning and lime juice, Blend until smooth. Pour into bowl.

  4. Dice remaining raw onion, chop cilantro and stir into salsa. See Photo (option) Use fewer jalapeños for a milder salsa.

  5. (option) You may add an avocado to the blender/processor ingredients for a creamy texture.

  6. (option) Grill half the tomatillos until blackened while rest boil See Photo . Process as above.
