  1. 1133.98 g trimmed boneless chuck roast

  2. 2 chopped onions

  3. 340.19 g can diet cola

  4. 1 1/53 ml Worcestershire sauce

  5. 22.18 ml apple cider vinegar or 22.18 ml white vinegar

  6. 4.92 ml beef bouillon granules

  7. 3.69 ml dry mustard

  8. 3.69 ml chili powder

  9. 1 1/53-2.46 ml ground red pepper

  10. 3 clove minced garlic

  11. 236 1/29 ml ketchup

  12. 14.79 ml light butter

  13. 12 reduced-fat hamburger buns with sesame seeds

  1. Place roast in a 3 1/2 or 4 quart electric slow cooker; add onion.

  2. Combine cola and next 7 ingredients; cover and chill 1 cup sauce.

  3. Pour remaining sauce over raost.

  4. Cover with lid; cook on High for 1 hour.

  5. Reduce heat to Low; cook 8 hours or until roast is very tender.

  6. If time doesn't permit, you can omit cooking it on High for 1 hour.

  7. Just add two hours to the Low cooking time.

  8. Remove roast with chopped onion from cooker using a slotted spoon and shred meat with 2 forks.

  9. Combine reserved sauce, ketchup and butter in a saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated.

  10. Pour sauce over shredded meat, stirring gently.

  11. Spoon meat mixture on buns.
