  1. 4 medium red potatoes, scrubbed and quartered

  2. 4 garlic cloves , peeled and quartered

  3. 1 lb frozen baby green beans

  4. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  5. 2 tablespoons fat-free chicken broth

  6. salt and pepper

  7. 1 tablespoon fresh basil , chopped or 1 teaspoon dried basil , crushed

  1. Place the scrubbed and quartered potatoes in a saucepan along with the garlic cloves; cover with cold water.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  3. When the potatoes come to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until tender, about 15 minutes; drain immediately.

  4. Place the frozen beans in a 2-quart microwave safe dish, cover and microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.

  5. Stir the beans and microwave an addiitonal 1 to 2 minutes or until crisp tender.

  6. Return potatoes and garlic to saucepan, drizzle with olive oil and chicken broth.

  7. Toss to coat evenly, season with salt and pepper, add beans and basil; toss again.

  8. Serve immediately.
