  1. 1 pound (1/2 kilogram) ground dark turkey meat

  2. 1 pound (1/2 kilogram) ground beef

  3. 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  4. 1 small carrot, grated

  5. 5 cloves garlic, minced

  6. 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped

  7. 2 large eggs, lightly beaten

  8. 6 Tbsp. matzah meal

  9. 4 Tbsp. ketchup

  10. 1 tsp. salt

  11. 1/2 tsp. pepper

  1. Place ground meat in a mixing bowl. Add chopped onion, grated carrot, garlic and parsley. Add egg, matzah meal, ketchup and spices. Mix well.

  2. Form small patties. If you want to prepare for now, refrigerate for 30-60 minutes and then grill. If you want to freeze for later, please patties in shallow pan, separating layers by parchment paper, cover well and place in freezer.

  3. Grill for a few minutes on each side, until baked through.
