  1. 1 1/2 lbs lean ground turkey

  2. 2 medium potatoes , peeled, boiled and mashed

  3. 1 large carrot , diced

  4. 1 small onion , diced

  5. 1 garlic clove , minced

  6. 1 tablespoon cooking oil

  7. 2 eggs , lightly beaten

  8. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  9. 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

  10. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  11. 1/2 teaspoon dried savory

  12. salt and pepper

  1. Heat oven to 375ºF.

  2. Heat oil in skillet and sauté onion, carrots and garlic until tender.

  3. Set aside to cool slightly.

  4. In a large bowl, combine turkey and mashed potatoes, add eggs, bread crumbs and seasonings.

  5. Stir in cooked vegetables and mix thoroughly.

  6. Form mixture into a 9x5-inch oval in a lightly oiled baking dish.

  7. Bake for 90 minutes or until a meat thermometer registers 170ºF.
