  1. In 3-quart saucepan, heat half-and-half and milk to boiling over high heat. Reduce heat to medium. Add potatoes and cook, uncovered, 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and potatoes thicken, stirring constantly. Stir in horseradish and chives.

  2. Tips & Techniques If space is tight on your rangetop, combine first 3 ingredients in 1 1/2- to 2-quart microwave-safe serving dish and prepare in microwave oven following package directions. Stir in horseradish and chives.
