  1. Ingredients :

  2. 200g White round rice

  3. 1/2 Lemon peel

  4. 100 g Sugar

  5. 1 Vanilla Pod

  6. 1/2 Litre milk

  7. 1 Cinnamon stick

  8. 3 tsp Ground Cinnamon

  1. Boil 1/2 litre water with lemon peel for 1 minute.

  2. Add rice, cinnamon stick and vanilla pod (split vanilla in the middle for stronger flavour release).

  3. Boil for 10 minutes on high heat, stir gently.

  4. Pour milk in amounts each time, add sugar and stir regularly for another 5 minutes on medium heat.

  5. Taste rice to ensure it is cooked, add a small drop of boiling water if more time is needed or consistency is thicker than desired.

  6. Remove cinnamon stick and vanilla pod.
