  1. 4 individually frozen biscuits

  2. 1-3/4 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

  3. 1/4 cup chopped onion

  4. 1/4 cup chopped celery

  5. 1/3 cup butter, cubed

  6. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  7. 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon salt

  8. 1 cup chicken broth

  9. 1 cup milk

  10. 2 cups cubed cooked chicken

  11. 2 tablespoons diced pimientos

  1. Chicken a la King Recipe photo by Taste of Home Bake biscuits according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute the mushrooms, onion and celery in butter until crisp-tender. Stir in flour and salt until blended. Gradually stir in broth and milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

  2. Add chicken and pimientos. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 4-6 minutes or until heated through. Serve with biscuits. Yield: 4 servings.
