  1. 1 cup brown sugar

  2. 1 tablespoon butter, melted

  3. 1 cup dark corn syrup

  4. 3 eggs, beaten

  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  6. 1 cup pecan pieces

  7. 1 pie shell, regular depth

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375 F.

  2. Beat together the sugar, corn syrup and the melted butter until smooth.

  3. Add the eggs and pecans to the mixture and then pour it into the pie shell.

  4. Place the pie shell on a cookie sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until firm in the middle.
