  1. 2 cups 474ml Fresh or frozen blueberries

  2. 1 3/4 cups 162g / 5.7oz Fresh or frozen cranberries

  3. 1 cup 328g / 11oz Maple syrup

  4. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Currants

  5. 3 tablespoons 45ml Arrowroot powder or cornstarch

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Lemon juice

  7. 3/4 cup 46g / 1.6oz Whole wheat pastry or - unbleached flour

  8. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Rolled oats

  9. 1/4 cup 23g / 0.8oz Blanched almonds - ground

  10. 1 teaspoon 5ml Toasted sesame seeds

  11. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Cinnamon

  12. 1/4 cup 59ml Apple juice

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl combine blueberries, cranberries, maple syrup, currants, arrowroot or cornstarch, and lemon juice. Lightly oil a 9-inch by 13 inch baking dish.

  2. Add the fruit mixture. In a medium bowl combine the flour, oats, almonds, sesame seeds and cinnamon.

  3. Sprinkle with the apple juice and mix well. Spoon over the fruit.

  4. Bake about 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
