  1. 4 String beans

  2. 4 cups 948ml Vinegar

  3. 4 cups 948ml Water

  4. 1/2 cup 118ml Salt

  5. 4 Garlic cloves

  6. 4 Dill heads

  1. Wash and stem string beans. Pack tightly into sterilized jars. Combine vinegar, water and salt in a sauce pan. Heat, stirring to dissolve salt. Pour over beans. Add a clove of garlic and 1 head dill per jar. Process in a hot water bath.

  2. This recipe yields 4 quarts.
