  1. 3 cups all-purpose flour

  8. 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  9. 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

  10. 3 eggs

  11. 3/4 cup orange juice

  12. 3/4 cup vegetable oil

  13. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  14. 2 cups grated carrots

  15. 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips

  1. Chocolate Chip Carrot Bread Recipe photo by Taste of Home In a large bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. In a small bowl, beat the eggs, orange juice, oil and vanilla. Stir into the dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the carrots and chocolate chips.

  2. Transfer to two greased 8-in. x 4-in. loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Yield: 2 loaves.
