  1. 3 cups old fashioned oats

  2. 1/3 c. margarine (I use Smart Balance)

  3. 1/2 c. honey

  4. 1-2 tsp cinnamon

  5. 1 c. raw nuts

  6. 1 c. dried

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Place parchment paper over a large baking sheet. Spread the oats and nuts on the baking sheet and toast for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.

  2. In a large bowl, combine toasted oats and nuts with margarine, honey and cinnamon. Spread the mixture on the baking sheet an bake for 30-35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Granola should come out crunchy and light brown.

  3. Toss the granola together with dried fruit and serve with (soy)milk or yogurt.
