  1. 1 Cabbage - chopped

  2. 1 tablespoon 15ml Salt

  3. 4 tablespoons 60ml Onion (small)

  4. 4 Cucumber

  5. 2 Carrots

  6. 2 Peppers (small)

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Celery seed

  8. 2 cups 396g / 13oz Sugar

  9. 1 cup 237ml Vinegar

  10. 1/2 cup 118ml Water

  1. Mix cabbage and salt. Let stand 30 minutes, then drain.

  2. Chop the onions, cucumbers, carrots, and peppers.

  3. Add to the cabbage, along with the celery seed. Set aside.

  4. Boil the sugar, vinegar, and water for 1 minute.

  5. When cold pour over the cabbage mixture, mixing well.

  6. Let stand 5 minutes before putting into containers to freeze.
