  1. 1 Cup (Cooked) Pigeon Peas (or Fresh cooked green peas can be substituted)

  2. 1/2 Tbsp Ginger Paste

  3. 1/2 Tbsp Garlic paste

  4. 1 Tbsp (Desicated) Coconut

  5. (2 Strands) Javitri(mace)

  6. 1 (Inch Stick) Cinnamon

  7. 2 Pinch

  8. 2 Cardamom

  9. 2 (to 3) Cloves

  10. Small Piece Marati Moggu

  11. 1/4 Tsp Pepper Powder

  12. 1/2 Tsp Turmeric

  13. 1/2 Tsp Chat Masala

  14. (A pinch) Cumin powder

  15. Carom Powder

  16. 1 Tbsp Chili Powder

  17. Ingredients to prepare masala puri:

  18. (Store bought) Puri

  19. 1 Boiled Potato (Crumbled)

  20. 1 Cup (Boiled) Green Peas

  21. Tamarind Chutney

  22. Mint Chutney

  23. 2 Large Onions (Finely Chopped)

  24. 2 Tomatoes (d seeded and chopped into small cubes)

  25. (Store bought Kara) Sev

  26. Masala Gravy

  1. put cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, javitri, marati moggu along with the coconut powder in a

  2. fry pan

  3. dry roast altogether till the cocunt become slight pink in color

  4. now put the dry roasted spices in a grinder

  5. add cooked dal in the grinder along with ginger and garlic paste

  6. grind them together to make a fine paste

  7. now put the paste in a pot

  8. add water and mix well

  9. now starin the mixture using a seive and put the mixture in a deep bottom pan

  10. add chili powder, pepper powder, chat masala, turmeric, carom powder and cumin powder and mix well

  11. add salt as per taste

  12. now boil the mixture and reduce it a bit

  13. while boiling keep on stirring

  14. the gravy is done now

  15. now start to prepare the masala puri

  16. first take two plates

  17. now crumble the puris (7-8 puris on both plates)

  18. now add boiled green peas on top of the crubled puris

  19. spread the ready gravy over the puris (about 3-4tbsp)

  20. now spread boiled and smashed ported over it

  21. sprinkle chopped tomatoes

  22. put some tamarind chutney over the potatoes

  23. now put some mint chutney

  24. sprinkle grated onions as much as possible

  25. now sprinkle kara sev over the onions

  26. masala pur chaat is now ready to be served

  27. enjoy it!
