  1. 1 family-size box brownie mix with syrup pouch (22 1/2 oz), prepared as directed on box , using 2 eggs 5 1/2 cup(s) uncooked oats , regular or quick 1 cup(s) walnuts , chopped

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease baking sheet(s)

  2. Mix all ingredients until well blended. Cover and let stand 30 minutes for oats to absorb liquid. Drop rounded tablespoons 11⁄2 in. apart on baking sheet(s)

  3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until tops look crackled and satiny. Remove with spatula to a wire rack to cool.
