  1. Directions GETTING READY 1. In a bowl, mix flour and salt, add beer, egg yolk, 1 tablespoon oil and whisk until smooth and set aside.

  2. Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper MAKING 3. Drain potatoes and pat dry, add potatoes to hot oil in deep fat fryer in batches, fry until golden brown, and transfer to a paper towel lined pan.

  3. In the batter, add the whipped egg whites and fold.
