  2. 453 1/29 g sweet Italian sausage link

  3. 2 fresh garlic cloves , minced

  4. 453 1/29 g can diced tomato , undrained

  5. 170.09 g can tomato paste

  6. 59.14 ml dry parsley flakes

  7. 14.79 ml brown sugar

  8. 4.92 ml salt

  9. 7 1/39 ml dried oregano

  10. 1 1/53 ml dried thyme

  11. 1 bay leaf

  12. 14.79-29 1/28 ml fennel seed

  13. cooked spaghetti

  1. Brown together the ground beef, sausage, onion and garlic; drain well.

  2. Add rest of ingredients, stirring well.

  3. Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

  4. Lower heat to simmer and cook for 3 hours or until sauce is thickened.

  5. Serve over hot, cooked spaghetti and top with parmesan cheese.
