  1. 56.69 g unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled

  2. 887 1/51 ml confectioners' sugar

  3. 118 1/59 ml butter or 118 1/59 ml margarine , softened

  4. 44 1/37-59.16 ml milk

  5. 4.92 ml vanilla

  1. Place chocolate in heavy saucepan on very low heat or in the microwave until melted.

  2. Set aside to cool.

  3. Combine in a large bowl, with mixer at low speed, confectioners sugar, butter, milk and vanilla.

  4. Beat at medium speed 1-2 minutes until creamy.

  5. Add cooled chocolate and beat till combined. (If you want,you may add more milk now to get your desired spreading consistancy! I never need too.).

  6. Makes enough to fill and frost 2-layer cake, or 13x9x2-inch sheet cake or 24 cupcakes, or 1 bundt cake.
