  1. Ingredients :

  2. 6 Medium fresh tomatoes

  3. 1 Large potato

  4. 1 Large red onion

  5. 1 Clove of garlic

  6. 1 Medium Carrot

  7. 1 Bunch of fresh Basil

  8. 1 tsp of Virgin olive oil

  9. 1 tsp of chili spice

  10. 1 tsp of paprika

  11. Salt and pepper

  1. Remove the seedsfrom tomatoes and cut them into chunks.

  2. Chop garlic and onion and stir fry until goldenbrown.

  3. Add tomatoes to the pan and stir gently for 2minutes. The chili, paprika powder, salt andpepper can now be added.

  4. Peel, chop potato, carrot and basil into smallchunks. Add to the pan with 500ml water on mediumlow heat for about 5 minutes.

  5. Pour ingredients in a blender until creamy.

  6. Back on high heat for 5 minutes, add more water ifsoup is too thick.

  7. Serve hot with fresh leaves of Basil.
