  1. Create salad: Combine peas, bell pepper, tomato, and onion in a large glass bowl. Rinse and roughly chop vegetables. Toss and set aside.

  2. Create dressing: In a blender, combine sesame seed oil, tamari, ginger, onion, garlic, agave, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Process on high speed for several minutes until the gingerroot is completely and thoroughly blended. Blend longer if needed. Once dressing is smooth and reaches desired texture, pour about half over salad. Toss well. Use remaining dressing for stronger flavor or use for dipping with other vegetables.

  3. Optional: Lightly sprinkle with flax seeds.

  4. Prep time: 20 minutes. Blending time: 5-10 minutes. Total time: 30 minutes.
