  1. Crust

  2. 3 cups 187g / 6.6oz Flour

  3. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  4. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Shortening

  5. 6 tablespoons 90ml Water

  6. 1 Egg

  7. 1 tablespoon 15ml Vinegar

  8. Filling

  9. 4 Eggs

  10. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Half & half

  11. 2 tablespoons 30ml Butter - melted

  12. 1 tablespoon 15ml Flour

  13. 1 Spinach -or- broccoli

  14. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Salt

  15. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Pepper

  16. 1 teaspoon 5ml Horseradish

  17. 4 tablespoons 60ml Sour cream

  18. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Grated swiss/cheddar cheese

  19. 3 tablespoons 45ml Parmesan cheese

  1. Crust:

  2. Mix flour and salt together, add shortening until crumbly. Add water, vinegar and egg. Mix all together and roll out for a single crust and line a 9" pie plate. Bake in a preheated 450oF oven for 12 minutes.

  3. Filling:

  4. Blend the first 4 ingredients together. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into shell. Reduce heat to 375oF and bake 40 minutes.
