    1. 1 1/2 cups C and H Granulated Sugar

    2. 1 cup Shortening --

    3. 2 Eggs -- unbeaten

    4. 3 tablespoons Sweet or sour cream

    5. 1 teaspoon Vanilla

    6. 1/2 teaspoon Lemon extract

    7. 3 cups All-purpose flour

    8. 1/2 teaspoon Soda

    9. 1/2 teaspoon Salt

    10. 400 degree oven

    11. 6 to 9 minutes, until golden. Makes

    12. 6 dozen medium-sized cookies.
