  1. 1 lb beef stew meat

  2. 2 med. potatoes ,peeled and cubed

  3. 1 can(14-1/2 oz) beef broth

  4. 1 can(11-1/2 oz)V

  5. 8 juice

  6. 2 celery ribs ,chopped

  7. 2 med carrots ,chopped

  8. 1 med sweet onion ,chopped

  9. 3 bay leaves

  10. 1/2 tsp salt

  11. 1/2 tsp dried thyme

  12. 1/2 tsp chili powder

  13. 1/4 tsp pepper

  14. 2 TB cornstarch

  15. 1 TB cold water

  16. 1/2 c frozen corn

  17. 1/2 c frozen peas

  1. In a 3 qt. slow cooker,combine the first 12 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or till meat is tender..Discard bayleaves.

  2. In small bowl,combine cornstarch and water until smooth;stir into stew. Add corn and peas.

  3. Cover and cook on high for 30 mins or till thickened.
