  1. 3 lbs Boneless Beef Short Ribs

  2. 1/2 cup Chopped Onions

  3. 2 Tbsps Minced Garlic

  4. 1 tsp Cumin

  5. 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper

  6. 2 Tbps Vegetable Oil

  7. 1 cup Ketchup

  8. 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

  9. 1/4 cup Soy Sauce

  10. 1/4 cup Packed Brown Sugar

  11. 1/4 tsp Liquid Smoke

  1. Arrange the ribs in a baking pan and bake, covered, for 1 hour.

  2. Saute the onion, garlic, cumin and cayenne pepper in the oil in a saucepan over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

  3. Remove the ribs from the oven and pour off any grease. Pour the sauce over the top and make sure all the ribs are well coated with sauce.

  4. Bake, covered, for 1 hour. Remove cover and continue baking for 30 more minutes or until ribs are tender, turning and basting a few times.
