  2. 2 large whole cooked crabs, cracked

  3. 2 cups soft fresh breadcrumbs

  4. 1/2 cup milk

  5. 2 tbsp. vegetable oil

  6. 1 cup chopped onion

  7. 2 large cloves garlic, chopped

  8. 2 tbsp. chopped fresh chives

  9. 2 tsp. chopped jalapeno chili

  10. 1/4 tsp. crumbled dried thyme

  11. 1/4 tsp. ground cloves

  12. 3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

  13. 2 tbsp. fresh lime juice

  14. 1/4 tsp. salt

  15. 1/4 tsp. pepper

  16. 1 tsp. grated lime peel

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove crab meat from shells. Reserve shells. Place breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Stir in milk and crab meat and mix well. Heat oil in a medium skillet. Add onion, garlic, chives, jalapeno, thyme and cloves. Cook about 5 minutes until onion is tender. Stir in crab mixture. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove skillet from heat and stir in lemon and lime juices, salt and pepper. Spoon mixture into the crab shells and place on a sheet pan. Sprinkle stuffing with lime peel and bake 10 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately.
