  1. 1 lb steak

  2. 1 small onion , chopped

  3. 2 (16 ounce) cans refried beans

  4. 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

  5. 2 (14 ounce) cans beef broth

  6. 1 (28 ounce) can green enchilada sauce

  7. 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chili-ready canned tomatoes

  8. 3 garlic cloves

  9. 1 teaspoon chili powder

  10. 2 teaspoons cumin

  11. 1 tablespoon lime juice

  12. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  13. pepper

  14. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  1. Cube steak and brown.

  2. Add garlic and onions and sauté in olive oil until onions are slightly transparent.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for at least 20 minutes. The longer you simmer it, the better it will taste.

  4. Top with sour cream, shredded cheese, Fritos or tortilla chips (optional).
