  4. 4 teaspoons 2% milk

  5. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  9. 1/8 teaspoon salt

  10. 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chunks

  11. 1/4 cup dried cherries

  1. Cherry Chocolate Chunk Cookies Recipe photo by Taste of Home In a small bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in the egg, milk and vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate and cherries.

  2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto baking sheets lightly coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 12-14 minutes or until firm. Cool for 1 minute before removing to a wire rack. Yield: 10 cookies.
