  1. 4 Pound(s) Pork spareribs, cut into serving pieces

  2. 20 1/2 Ounce(s) Pineapple tidbits

  3. 1/3 Cup(s) Celery, chopped

  4. 1/3 Cup(s) Green pepper, chopped

  5. 2 Tablespoon(s) Butter

  6. 1 Clove(s) Garlic, minced

  7. 1/3 Cup(s) Vinegar

  8. 2 Tablespoon(s) Soya Sauce

  9. 1 Teaspoon(s) Sugar

  10. 1/4 Teaspoon(s) Ground Ginger

  11. 1 Teaspoon(s) Corn starch

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  2. Place ribs in large roasting pan.

  3. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Roast for 30 minutes.

  5. Drain off any fat.

  6. Turn ribs over and reduce heat to 350 degrees.

  7. Continue cooking for 1 hour.

  8. Drain pineapple, reserving liquid.

  9. In a medium saucepan cook celery and green pepper in butter, till they are tender.

  10. In a bow,l combine cornstarch and pineapple juice; add to the saucepan.

  11. Cook until it thickens and bubbly.

  12. Stir in pineapple, garlic, vinegar, soya sauce, sugar, ginger and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

  13. Pour over ribs and cook for 30 minutes longer; basting often.

  14. Serve with white rice and vegetables.
