  1. 500g sugar

  2. 35g , plus 2 tsp plain flour

  3. 1/2; tsp salt

  4. 4 eggs, beaten

  5. 1 1/4L whole milk

  6. 1L double cream

  7. 2 tbsp vanilla essence , preferably bourbon Madagascar

  8. 1 25ml honey

  9. 75g honey roasted sunflower seeds

  1. South Dakota honey sunflower vanilla ice cream 1) In a large bowl, whisk together all the ingredients except the sunflower seeds.

  2. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream machine. Follow the ice cream machine manufacturer's instructions for making ice cream.

  3. When the ice cream has the consistency of pudding and the machine is no longer churning, stir in the sunflower seeds.

  4. Freeze the ice cream until hardened, about 4 hours.
