  1. Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork and Rub

  2. 1 4-5 lb pork shoulder butt

  3. 2 tablespoons salt

  4. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  5. 2 tablespoons sugar

  6. 2 tablespoons cumin

  7. 2 tablespoons chili powder

  8. 2 tablespoons black pepper

  9. 2 tablespoons cayenne

  10. 4 tablespoons paprika (smoked if desired)

  11. 1 1/2 cups white vinegar

  12. 1 tablespoon sugar

  13. 4 tablespoons tabasco

  14. Cole slaw

  15. 1 bag chopped cabbage

  16. 1 bag julienned carrots

  17. 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise

  18. 1/2 cup white vinegar

  19. 1/3 cup sugar

  20. 1 tablespoon celery seed

  1. Mix ingredients for rub, rub on pork roast. Cook in slow cooker for 8 hours. Put in bowl, shred with two forks. Mix the vinegar, sugar and tabasco, pour over pork.

  2. For cole slaw, mix all ingredients together, pour over cabbage, let sit for an hour before serving.
