  1. 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can Del Monte® Canned Pears in Heavy Syrup or Del Monte® Lite Sliced Pears

  2. 2 3/4 cups water

  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  4. 2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats

  5. 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted*

  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  8. 1 cup fresh red raspberries

  9. Brown sugar

  1. Drain canned pears, reserving syrup. Chop the pear slices. Bring water, drained syrup from canned pears and salt to a boil over medium-high heat in a medium saucepan. Stir in oats; reduce heat. Cook, uncovered, for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Remove pan from heat.

  2. Stir in almonds, cinnamon and vanilla. Cover and let stand for 2 to 3 minutes to reach desired consistency.

  3. To serve, top each serving with chopped canned pears and raspberries. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
