  3. 1 clove garlic minced

  4. 1/8 teaspoon salt

  5. 1 x black pepper

  6. 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  7. 1/4 teaspoon paprika smoked

  8. 4 tablespoons water

  9. 1 teaspoon olive oil

  10. 2 tablespoons almonds toasted, sliced or slivered

Instructions Jump to Ingredients ↑

  1. Mix together butter, paprika and garlic in a small bowl. Set aside.

  2. In a skillet, heat the oil over medium high heat.

  3. Add the raw green beans and sauté (stirring frequently) for a few minutes until beginning to develop some colour. Add salt and a few grindings of black peppers.

  4. Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of water, cover the pan and cook for about 2 minutes until the green beans have turned green and are just beginning to cook through.

  5. Remove the cover and allow the water to evaporate.

  7. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

  8. Serve sprinkled with the toasted almonds on top.

  9. This recipe can be easily doubled and you may have to since they gobble them up mighty quickly.
