  1. 3 pounds veal lean, ground

  2. 3/4 cup bread crumbs

  3. 1 each egg well beaten

  4. 1 tablespoon parsley leaves chopped

  5. 2 tablespoons butter melted

  6. 1 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

  8. 1 tablespoon onion chopped

  9. 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

  10. 1/2 cup stock

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and moisten with the stock.

  2. Pack into a greased loaf pan.

  3. Dot with butter or other shortening and bake at 350-F for 1 hour.

  4. Serve hot or cold as desired.
