  1. 1 pkg Pillsbury Applesauce Spice Quick Bread Mix

  2. 1 cup (1 medium) chopped apple

  3. 1 cup water

  4. 1 egg

  5. 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

  6. 1/4 cup chopped nut s

  7. 1 tsp cinnamon

  8. 1/2 tsp water

  1. Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom only of a 8-or-9-inch square pan.

  2. In large bowl combine quick bread mix, apple, 1 cup water, and egg. Pour into prepared pan.

  3. Combine brown sugar, nuts, cinnamon, and ½ tsp water. Sprinkle over batter.

  4. Bake @ 350° for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Store tightly covered.
