  1. 1 pound ground beef

  2. 2 tablespoons diced green chiles

  3. 1 clove garlic, minced

  4. 1 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  7. 12 corn tortillas

  8. 1 cup chopped black olives

  9. 1 onion, chopped

  10. 4 cups (16 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175°C).

  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef then remove the meat to drain. Saute green chili peppers and garlic. Add the meat, salt, pepper and cumin.

  3. In a baking dish, arrange layers using first 4 corn tortillas on the bottom, then the meat, black olives, onion and cheddar cheese on top. Repeat for 3 layers.

  4. Bake 15 minutes, or until bubbly.
