  1. 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine

  2. 1 cup sliced mushrooms

  3. 1/2 cup red peppers or 1/2 cup green pepper strip

  4. 1 (8 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

  5. 1 (8 ounce) soup can milk

  6. 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli

  7. 2 cups cubed cooked chicken or 2 cups turkey

  8. 1 dash ground nutmeg

  1. In a 3 quart saucepan over medium heat, add butter and cook mushrooms and pepper strips until they are tender, stirring frequently.

  2. Stir in soup, milk, broccoli, chicken, pepper and nutmeg.

  3. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

  4. Reduce heat to low.

  5. Cover; simmer 5 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
