  2. 1 cup milk chocolate chips

  3. 1 teaspoon shortening

  4. cashews or peanuts or pecan halves

  5. OR english walnut halves -- (picked over)

  6. OR miniature marshmallows

  1. Makes 2 dozen1. Melt chocolate pieces with shortening in top of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water.

  2. Throw in 1/2 cup of nuts at a time, stirring around in melted chocolate.

  3. Take out nuts with a fork and place in little piles on cookie sheet covered with waxed paper.

  4. Refrigerate until set.
